August/September 2001

She's just gotten her toenails painted and is holding her feet up to the fan to help them dry faster. If we don't hurry the process, we have to repeat it.

Peeking out from behind the door.

Some of Shea's friends. Lee Ann and Brooke are sisters from a few doors down the street. This is obviously a business meeting--notice the cell phone sitting on the table.

The lighting manager.

Mama wears one so she thought she should have one too. By the way, the panties are Hanes Her Way. I think you have to have a young daughter to ever realize that they make Hanes Her Way this small. Most of hers are Pooh, Barney, or some Disney princess. She's only worn diapers or pull ups for sleeping and car trips for months now. Most diapers that we take off are actually dry. We're hoping that they're all this easy. Just for the record, I didn't take this picture OR dress her up in the bra.

She got a Ballerina Barbie book a short time ago and felt the need to start dancing. Funny story--Shea was very young when Debi asked what we were going to call her private parts. I was being silly and said, "Tutu." Somehow it stuck. However, we created a lot of confusion by telling her this was her ballerina tutu. Now she hikes her leg up (as a ballerina), grabs her crotch, and says, "Ballerina tutu." We definitely know what she's NOT going to be for Halloween.
