Camping at Lake Burton
View from the dock.

Most of us fit in
the RV. The rest slept in the tent just behind the trailer.

Looks like she's managing
her race team, but she's just listening to her ipod up on the monkey bars.

Lounging by the campfire.

I remember when they
did this just because they wanted to see what I was cooking for dinner. Now
they do it just because they want a hug.

Singing to the music
on his ipod.

Snug as bugs in rugs.

Fixing her morning
coffee.

Heading over to the
fish hatchery where they raise trout to be released in streams all over Georgia.

Apparently somebody
spilled some food at the last feeding. Once the kids found it, they decided
to do some feeding too.

They loved the feeding
frenzy.

Tallulah Gorge

All along the way
up and back, Garrett would say, "Daddy, I can see the mountain." He
was talking about the rocky face exposed when the roads were built. On the way
back, we stopped to see Tallulah Gorge. As we headed back to the car, he saw
more rocks and said, "Wait...I want to touch the mountain!" He saw
this little spot in the rocks and headed right for it.
