Those lucky bastards in the UK can actually buy these things brand spanking new. Worse yet, they pay the same amount for a new one that we (in the States) have to pay for a 30 year old model. This was the 40th anniversary edition in 1999, called a Mini40.

Actually, production of the "classic" Mini ceased in October 2000. This is the new Mini which is expected to make it to this side of the pond in early 2002. I think I'll stick with the "classic" model.
